How To Create Lighting Ambience At Home

Walk into any 5-star hotel or popular restaurant, and you’ll find your mood effortlessly shifting to match the atmosphere that the designer intended—whether it’s a sense of intrigue, excitement, or romance. This transformation is often the result of meticulous attention to detail, particularly in the lighting design. It’s a subtle art that we often overlook but one that holds immense potential to enhance our own homes. One way that you can easily influence the ambience at home is by utilising cordless lighting.

NEOZ is an Australian company with more than 40 years of pioneering cordless lighting technology. Today their award winning industrial – designed cordless lamps grace some of the most prestigious restaurants and hotels in the world. From the Crown to Nobu, Bennelong, Aria, Reine & La Rue, The Capella Sydney and Singapore, The Wall Street Hotel in New York, Marrakech’s Oberoi, Frescohallen in Norway and at the supremely elegant St Regis in Venice.

The brand was founded in 1983 by Industrial Engineer, Peter Ellis, who wanted to design and produce lighting products that were beneficial to both people and the environment. Today CEO Jon Hemming is driving innovation, and the company is collaborating with the world’s leading interior innovators, including Ken Fulk, Martin Brudinzki, AvroKO and Bryan O’Sullivan. They have recently launched a new NEOZ N1 Cordless Light Engine which is the most advanced cordless lighting system which offers longer battery life and is IP64 rated for water resistance and durability.
